Leatherworking is a craft that has been around for centuries and has a wide variety of applications in everyday life.
Based in Central Queensland I have been doing leatherworking for several years. The items that I create are all handmade using as many Australian Made products as possible, including the leather.
Clutch bags are small carry bags that gained popularity back in the 1800s so that women could carry their makeup without having to take up too much space in their handbags.
They have evolved over the years to become a versatile carry option for all the essential daily items such as your phone, makeup, and purse.
Each bag is made from a combination of leather and cowhide, are fully lined with fabric and have robust YKK zippers. All Clutch Bags come standard with a robust wrist strap.

Leatherworking has interested me for many years, the feel, the smell, it is a very tactile material.
Did you know that leather is a recycled material? If it wasn't for the fact that leather is used for making products with, either practical or decorative applications, over 7 million tonnes of hides would end up as refuse and landfill around the world.
The leather that I use is Australian sourced and Australian tanned where possible.
I am proud to be supporting Australian Made.
I have a range of handmade leather items available for purchase and I am happy to work with you on custom orders too.
